Shirley Lyons

Shirley Lyons holds extensive experience in management and program oversight within the areas of mental health, education, and community services. Currently serving as the Employment and Day Services Manager at Henrico Area MH & DS since March 1991, Shirley participates in leadership initiatives and manages multiple CARF-accredited programs. Additionally, Shirley works as an Admin and Program Surveyor for CARF International and has held adjunct faculty positions at the University of Phoenix and South University, focusing on various management and business courses. Previous roles include Assistant Director at Richmond Residential Services and various positions with Richmond Royals Hockey, showcasing leadership in both professional and community settings. Shirley holds a Master's degree in Organization and Management from Capella University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Dayton.
