Tom Scheffer

Tom Scheffer has extensive experience in business development and sales within the technology and insurance sectors. Currently serving as Director of Insurance Claims and previously as Manager of Police Agency Retention & Report Sales at CARFAX since April 2013, Tom has demonstrated a strong ability to lead and manage teams. Prior to CARFAX, Tom held the position of Business Development Manager at DP Solutions, focusing on strategic partnerships and business growth strategies. Earlier experience includes a successful tenure as a Sales Consultant at Velocity Network, where Tom managed client relationships and provided IT consulting services, consistently exceeding sales quotas. Tom obtained a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Maryland in 2006, following graduation from Gaithersburg High School in 2002.
