Alexander Bacon is a Continuous Improvement Engineer at Cargill since September 2020, following roles as a Technical Management Trainee at the same company. Previously, Alexander contributed as a Science and Engineering Champion at the University of Sheffield, facilitating open days for prospective STEM students and supporting the operation of workshops. An Industrial Placement Student at Cargill from June 2018 to August 2019, Alexander also held leadership roles in the University of Sheffield Golf Society, serving as Club President and First Team Captain. A summer internship at Nuclear AMRC involved research and co-authoring a paper on product development. Alexander holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sheffield and has completed A levels in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.
