Ben Carter

Ben Carter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance and mathematics, currently serving as a Lecturer at the University of Minnesota College of Science and Engineering since September 2022. In addition, Ben has been a Software Engineer specializing in Quantitative Trading & Execution at Cargill since November 2021. Prior to these roles, Ben spent over seven years at Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC, where positions included Manager of Capital Markets, Senior Staff Actuary, and multiple roles within the Corporate Modeling Group and Insurance Product Development. Earlier career experiences include internships in actuarial work and financial research. Ben holds a Master of Science in Financial Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Mathematics from the University of Minnesota.
