Chris Bartels

Chris Bartels is currently the North America Capital Execution Lead at Cargill, a position they began in 2021. From 2011 to 2021, Chris served as an Engineering Manager at Cargill Incorporated, overseeing a team focused on capacity expansion, natural resources optimization, and cost reduction. Previously, they worked as a Project Manager at Eddyville Chlor-Alkali, LLC, managing the redesign and startup of a chlor-alkali facility, and as a Construction Project Manager at Louisiana Sugar Refining, where they were responsible for a new sugar refinery's construction and commissioning. Chris began their career as a Project Engineer at Cargill Inc. from 1998 to 2010 and earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1998.
