Crystal Prom, PhD PAS, has extensive experience in the dairy industry, beginning as a Dairy Farm Laborer and Milker at Virginia Tech in 2010 and gaining a comprehensive skill set through internships in herd health and management. Crystal served as a Sales Administrator in the Animal Care Division at Hampel Corp. and furthered education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, earning a Master of Science in Dairy Nutrition. Continuing academic pursuits at Michigan State University led to a PhD in Ruminant Nutrition, followed by the current role as a Dairy Nutrition Consultant at Cargill since 2020. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Dairy Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and an Associate of Science and Associate of Arts from Virginia Western Community College.
