Erwin Honcoop

Erwin Honcoop is a Research & Technology Leader at Cargill, with an extensive background in the chemical and coating industries. They began their career as a Jr. Prescription Engineer at Fuji Photo Film B.V. and later held various positions, including Development Chemist and Technical Service Chemist at Unichema International. Between 1999 and 2006, they served as an Application Specialist at Uniqema / ICI, leading R&D projects and providing technical support globally. Erwin's expertise continued to grow at Croda, where they worked as an Application Specialist and later as a Market Application Specialist, before transitioning into a role focused on biobased building blocks at PURAC. They hold a post-academic degree in Coating Technology and an HBO degree in Chemistry from Avans Hogeschool Breda.
