Joanna Letcheva has extensive experience in the shipping and trading sectors, beginning as an intern in the Personnel Department at Hanseatic Shipping Company in June 2007, followed by an internship in the Chartering Department at Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (Cyprus) Ltd in June 2008. Joanna Letcheva joined Cargill in December 2009 as a Junior Trader focusing on in-house broking and chartering for the Panamax Desk, and later advanced to the role of Panamax Freight Trader. In August 2018, Joanna Letcheva returned to Cargill as a Senior Trader, concentrating on freight trading for the Cape Desk. Academically, Joanna Letcheva completed a BSc in Maritime Business and Management at Liverpool John Moores University, followed by an LLM in Maritime Law from the University of Southampton. Additionally, Joanna Letcheva completed all examinations at the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers between 2010 and 2011.
