Mark Podval

Mark Podval, CFA, currently serves as Assistant Director at Cargill since May 2023. Previously, Mark held various roles at Goldman Sachs from May 2015 to May 2023, including Senior Compliance Officer and Vice President within the Regulatory Practice Group, where responsibilities included investigating regulatory inquiries, providing guidance on compliance matters, and managing a Technical Advisory Team. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Mark worked at Societe Generale from April 2007 to May 2015 as VP of Cross Assets and Exotics Trading, overseeing a team focused on risk and P&L reporting. Mark also has experience as a Commodities Trader at Merc Trading LLC and as a Natural Gas Broker at KVL Futures. Mark holds a BA in Economics from New York University, with previous education at the University at Albany and Stuyvesant High School.
