Matthew Wright

Matthew Wright serves as the Vice President of Global Corporate Governance and Assistant Corporate Secretary at Cargill since September 2020, overseeing the company's corporate governance program and ensuring legal compliance across Cargill and its subsidiaries. Previously, Matthew held the position of Assistant Vice President of Global Corporate Governance at Ventas, Inc., where responsibilities included managing legal functions related to corporate governance and securities filings. Prior to that, Matthew worked as Counsel in Corporate & Securities at Winston & Strawn LLP, representing diverse clients on corporate governance, executive compensation, and M&A matters. Matthew earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Miami University.
