Mert Selimoglu is currently the Specialized Nutrition Global Fermentation Lead at Cargill, where they focus on developing new and novel products through fermentation. Previously, they served as the Process Design Lead for Business Development at Cargill, also concentrating on innovative fermentation products. Mert has extensive experience in the field, having worked as an R&D Specialist in Fermentation at Pakmaya and as a researcher at Aarhus University. They hold a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Kocaeli Üniversitesi and a Master’s degree in Bioengineering from Ege Üniversitesi, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a focus on Molecular Biology from Abant İzzet Baysal Üniversitesi.
