Moisés Poli is an accomplished Aquaculture Engineer who holds a Ph.D. in Aquaculture from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) in Brazil. With extensive experience in biotechnologies applied to aquaculture, Moisés has focused investigations on innovative production systems, including biofloc and multitrophic cultures. They received the Alltech Young Scientist program's award in 2018 for their impactful contributions and an honorary mention in the CAPES thesis award in Brazil. Currently, Moisés leads the health specialist division at Vitapro LATAM, where they develop strategies to enhance the health management of Litopenaeus vannamei shrimp cultivation.
