Patrick Shrake

Patrick Shrake is currently the State Tax Senior Counsel and Assistant Vice President at Cargill, where they oversee state income and franchise tax planning while serving as internal counsel for state audits and compliance. Previously, Shrake worked as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Minnesota, representing the Department of Revenue in tax litigation, and served as a judicial clerk for the Minnesota Supreme Court. With extensive experience as a Tax Manager at both Arthur Andersen and 3M, Shrake has developed a deep expertise in corporate state income taxation. They pursued their legal education at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, earning a JD in 2005, and are currently advancing their studies in Accounting at the UMN Carlson School of Management.
