Rene O has extensive experience in leadership and management roles within the animal nutrition and consumer goods sectors. From May 2019 to February 2024, Rene O served as Managing Director for Cargill Animal Nutrition in West Europe, and also led Cargill Animal Nutrition and Cargill Aqua Nutrition in Turkey, the Middle East, and Africa, as well as Cargill Feed & Nutrition (Purina) in Mexico. Prior to this, Rene O held various positions at Colgate-Palmolive from May 2000 to December 2004, including Business Development Manager in Costa Rica and Regional Senior Product Manager for Central America. Earlier experience includes roles at PepsiCo as an Assistant Brand Manager for Gatorade and Quaker Oats, and as a Business Management Consultant at Lambda International Consultants. Rene O began the career as an Assistant Brand Manager at Alfonzo Rivas & Cia. Educationally, Rene O earned a degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar between January 1992 and December 1997.
