Ryan Olson

Ryan Olson is an experienced professional in cyber security and information technology, currently serving as the Information Security Officer at Cargill since November 2016. In this role, Ryan evaluates cyber security risks and coordinates mitigation plans for over 1,500 global manufacturing locations. Prior to Cargill, Ryan held various positions at General Mills from 1998 to 2016, including Cyber Security Manager, where leadership of a global team focused on operational and strategic cyber security initiatives. Additional roles at General Mills included Dept. Manager of International Network Operations and IS Manager for the Milwaukee Facility. Ryan's career began at The Pillsbury Company, managing technical consulting tasks related to EDI operations and intranet infrastructure. Educational credentials include a BES in International Relations and Micro Computer Studies from St. Cloud State University, along with studies at Klaksvik Technics Schula.
