Somendra Bist, CIA, CISA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial controls and compliance. Currently serving as the SAP Controls Monitoring Lead at Cargill since June 2017, Somendra is responsible for developing and implementing a financial control framework on a global scale within the Corporate Finance team. Prior to Cargill, Somendra held the position of Global Compliance Capability Lead at Anheuser-Busch InBev, focusing on SOX compliance and internal audit support. Somendra's career also includes roles as an Assistant Manager at Deloitte U.S. India offices focusing on independence and risk management, a Financial Analyst at WNS Global Services in the pharmaceutical sector, and a Sr. Analyst at Copal Partners. Educational qualifications include certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Information Systems Auditor, along with a PGDBM in Finance and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science & Engineering.
