Steve Weir

Steve Weir is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in engineering management and supervision. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Cargill since January 2019, Steve oversees site engineering operations. Previously, at Karro Food Group from March 2011 to January 2019, Steve held multiple roles including Engineering Supervisor, where responsibilities included managing engineering projects in fresh pork production, and Engineering Team Leader, supervising a team of maintenance engineers. Steve began his career at GMC Fire & Security as an Electrician after completing an electrical apprenticeship. Steve's educational qualifications include HND and HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Teesside University, as well as an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations from York College.
