Tara Smith

Tara Smith, CPA, is a Global Mobility Tax Manager for Cargill, specializing in the tax implications of moves within the AMERICAS region. In this role, they handle complex tax activities and supervise compliance procedures while collaborating with various internal stakeholders. Previously, at EY, Tara advised multinational corporations on tax implications related to global assignments and managed the entire assignment lifecycle. They began their career at KPMG as a State and Local Tax Associate. Tara is currently pursuing a Master of Taxation at the University of Denver and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin.
