Alexander Schaab

Alexander Schaab serves as the Chief Product Officer at CARIAD since January 2024. Previously, Schaab held the position of Head of MB.OS 2.0 at Mercedes-Benz AG from January 2023 to January 2024, focusing on advancing software-defined vehicle technologies. Schaab's extensive experience at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America includes roles as Vice President of Connected & Autonomous and Vice President of Autonomous Driving. Prior to that, Schaab contributed significantly to Daimler AG as Manager of Intelligent Drive, overseeing radar sensor engineering and driver assistance systems. Schaab's career began as an intern and temporary engineer at Robert Bosch Co. and Trumpf, respectively, and spans various engineering and management roles within DaimlerChrysler AG. Schaab holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering with honors from the University of Stuttgart and the University of Cooperative Education Stuttgart.
