Ankit Kaushik

Ankit Kaushik is a seasoned professional in the field of autonomous driving and wireless communications, currently serving as a Senior System Engineer at CARIAD since October 2020. Prior to this, Ankit worked at Visteon Corporation as a Feature Owner, focusing on the development of highly automated driving solutions, specifically SAE Level 4 and Level 5 technologies, and led various research projects in collaboration with academic institutions. Ankit has also held the position of Research Associate at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, where the doctoral thesis explored cognitive radio and its potential for 5G networks. Earlier experience includes work as a Design Engineer at Leica Camera AG, specializing in data compression for digital imaging. Ankit holds a Dr.-Ing. in Wireless Communications and two Master of Science degrees in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering, and Information and Communication Technology.
