David Hedderich

David Hedderich is a Senior Data Scientist at CARIAD since November 2020, specializing in machine learning projects for Audi, VW, Skoda, and Seat, including recommender systems and customer segmentation. Responsibilities include leading teams, scaling machine learning use cases across European markets, and building a Data Science Community of Practice in the infotainment division. Previous roles include Research Manager in Data Architecture at e.GO Mobile, where David led projects in automated driving and data warehouse architecture, and positions at the Institut für Kraftfahrzeuge Aachen and AUDI AG, focused on technology research and project assistance. David holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from RWTH Aachen University and Tampere University, along with a Bachelor of Science in the same fields from RWTH Aachen University.
