Dr. Moritz Schack

Dr. Moritz Schack serves as a Car Data Strategy Principal/Manager and Data & Governance Lead at CARIAD since July 2020, following a career that includes notable leadership roles at Volkswagen AG and Volkswagen Group Info Services AG. From November 2016 to June 2020, Dr. Schack was the Team Lead & Unit Owner for Data Management in the e-Mobility Mobility Services division of Volkswagen AG. Prior experience includes serving as CEO at Volkswagen Group Info Services AG, as well as leading digital research projects at Volkswagen AG from June 2012 to October 2016. Dr. Schack began a career in the technology field at the Institut für Nachrichtentechnik, where the roles included Chief Engineer and Scientific Staff Member from May 2006 to April 2012. Dr. Schack holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Information System Technology from Technische Universität Braunschweig, earned from 2001 to 2006.
