Marcus Lachmann is currently serving as the Head of Software Methods and Tools 2 at CARIAD, where Marcus also leads the ADAS & AD Competence Team. Prior to this, Marcus worked as a Technical Project Lead at Carmeq GmbH, focusing on ADAS & AD software development for VW. Additionally, Marcus has experience as a Functional Owner for ADAS at VW group and has worked on automotive gesture control research and development at Volkswagen AG. With a background in geodesy and geoinformation science, Marcus has also been involved in tutoring and research and development in the field of surveying equipment.
