Michael Hetzenecker

Michael Hetzenecker is an experienced project manager specializing in surround view and trailer assistance systems at CARIAD since July 2020. Prior roles include product owner for automated parking systems and function project manager for parking area assistance systems at AUDI AG. Michael's background encompasses extensive project management and development in automated driving, machine learning, and electric drivetrains, facilitated through an international trainee program at Volkswagen Group of America and various internship experiences at BMW and Continental. Michael holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the Technical University of Munich and a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics from the Technical University of Applied Sciences Regensburg.
