Nicolas Derbin

Nicolas Derbin is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in management and integration roles, currently serving as Managing Director at CARIAD Estonia AS, part of the Volkswagen Group, since August 2020. In this position, Nicolas leads the establishment of a new subsidiary focused on software development and digitalisation, overseeing significant financial investments and enhancing Volkswagen's public image in the region. Prior to this role, Nicolas held the position of Head of Business Integration at Volkswagen International Belgium from November 2011 to July 2020, where responsibilities included creating a new business unit within Volkswagen’s Internal Bank and managing post-merger integrations. Additional experience includes project management at Volkswagen International Belgium and advisory roles at Deloitte and Ernst & Young, along with a bachelor's degree in Commerce from McGill University and a master's degree in the European Microfinance Program from Solvay Business School.
