Nirav Shastri currently serves as the Function Owner for Camera Calibration at CARIAD since September 2022. Prior to this role, Nirav worked as a Development Engineer at Bertrandt from November 2018 to September 2022, focusing on Software in Loop (SIL) test environments for radar systems, enhancing evaluation tools, and developing filter modules with Qt and C++. Nirav's earlier experience includes a Master Thesis position at the Fraunhofer Institute, where a visual assistance and inspection system for hydraulic valve assembly was developed, as well as a Research Assistant role at Universität Siegen. Education includes a Master’s Degree in Mechatronics from Universität Siegen and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications from CHARUSAT.
