Oliver Beck

Oliver Beck is a highly experienced professional in the fields of machine learning and deep learning, currently serving as the Head of Competence Center for Scientific Computing and Machine Learning Perception at CARIAD since February 2021, focusing on deep learning for video perception in advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and automated driving. Prior to this role, Oliver was the Head of Machine Learning at CSO73 and held key positions at Deep AI UG as Managing Director, and Hella Aglaia Mobile Vision GmbH as Head of Machine Learning. With a strong background in quantitative risk models and software development from previous roles at KPMG Deutschland and GA Financial Solutions GmbH, Oliver also contributed to academia as a Scientific Assistant at Technical University Berlin. Educational qualifications include a Dissertation in Theoretical Neuroscience and a Diploma in Physics from Technische Universität Berlin, along with certifications in energy risk management and deep learning.
