Stephan Studener

Stephan Studener is currently the Head of Diagnostic Technologies at CARIAD, where their teams deliver innovative in-vehicle diagnostic technology aimed at enhancing service-oriented vehicle diagnostics for Volkswagen. Previously, they held various engineering and managerial roles at prominent companies including Airbus Defence and Space and BMW, focusing on embedded control systems, diagnostics, and simulation software. Stephan completed their doctoral degree in Control Systems Engineering at Technische Universität München, following a Dipl.-Ing. in Chemical Engineering from the same institution. They began their career with a master’s thesis at The Linde Group and gained significant research experience at UCSB in nonlinear dynamics.
