Mark Phillips

Mark Phillips has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. From 2022 onwards, they served as the Vice President of Technology at CaringBridge, where they reorganized the engineering and DevOps organizations and implemented a new cloud-native platform. Prior to that, they worked as the Principal at Mark Phillips LLC, where they designed infrastructures and served as an interim system architect. Mark also held the position of Vice President of Engineering and Technology at DeVero, where they reorganized the engineering organization and increased productivity. Additionally, Mark has experience as the Chief Technology Officer at SmartMonsters, where they oversaw migration to cloud platforms and implemented new technologies. Mark has also worked as a Senior Director and Principal in various companies, including ePocrates, Macrovision, and SmartAge. Overall, Mark has a strong background in technology leadership and architecture.

Mark Phillips attended Clairemont Senior High School in San Diego from 1972 to 1975, where they obtained their high school degree in general studies. Following this, from 1977 to 1981, they attended Johnston College at the University of Redlands, majoring in Philosophy.
