Alex Harper

Alex Harper has extensive experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) management, currently serving as the GIS Manager at Central Arkansas Water since October 2008, overseeing a team of 13 GIS professionals and directing the development of enterprise GIS solutions for various utilities and government agencies. Prior roles include GIS Database Coordinator at Central Arkansas Water, where responsibilities included maintaining database integrity and optimizing use; GIS Technician at PAgis, focusing on data maintenance and technical support; and Spatial Analyst at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Spatial Information Systems and an Associate of Arts in Spatial Information Systems from the University of Arkansas at Monticello, along with completion of the Water & Wastewater Leadership Center's Leadership Program at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School in April 2024.
