Ben Thesing

Ben Thesing is a natural resource specialist at Central Arkansas Water since February 2019 and an environmental analyst I at the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department since July 2014. Ben has expertise in endangered species, permitting, wetland delineation, and mitigation. Prior roles include regional stream team coordinator at the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and graduate student/teaching and research assistant at the University of Central Arkansas. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas and a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Biology from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Additional experience encompasses roles such as field technician and aquatics specialist, along with earlier positions in customer service and agriculture.
