William Willmore

William Willmore is a distinguished academic in the field of biochemistry, currently serving as a Full Professor and Director of the Institute of Biochemistry at Carleton University since January 2002. With a solid background in molecular biology and biochemistry, William has focused on areas such as proteomics and cellular stress tolerance. Prior to this role, William gained valuable experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School from June 1997 to December 2001, specializing in cellular stress responses, signal transduction, and oxygen sensing. William holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Carleton University (1992-1997) and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from the University of Guelph (1987-1992).
