Recognizing the importance of provenance, maker and artistic content, the company takes an academic approach to the acquisition of historically significant pieces, using comprehensive specialist antiques archives of several thousand books and source materials. 

Carlton Hobbs LLC sells to a discreet customer base, concentrating on major private and institutional collectors. We have exhibited at the most prestigious vetted international antiques fairs, including the Biennale in Paris, Grosvenor House in London and both the Fall and Winter Antiques Shows at the Armory in New York.
