Lachlan MacGregor has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 1998, they worked as a Marketing Executive at Colgate Palmolive while still attending university. In 1999, they joined UBS as a Director in Investment Banking and remained in that role until October 2006. From November 2006 to December 2010, they served as the Director of Private Equity at Oceania Capital Partners Limited. In 2010, they joined Platinum Asset Management Limited as a Senior Investor until June 2015. From January 2014 to January 2019, they co-founded Hello Pizza Pty Ltd. In July 2015, MacGregor co-founded Alphinity Investment Management and held the position of Co-Founder and Global Portfolio Manager until June 2021. Since March 2021, they are the Co-Founder and CEO of Carma, a fully digital used car dealership based in Sydney, Australia. Additionally, since April 2018, they have had a role as a Non-Executive Director at Hudson.
Lachlan MacGregor attended the University of Sydney from 1996 to 1998, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Lachlan'sstudies focused on the fields of Finance, Economics, and Marketing. Prior to their university education, Lachlan MacGregor completed their Higher School Certificate (HSC) at Barker College.
