Stephen Roth serves as the President and Chief Technology Officer of Carmel Software Corporation since February 2010, after leading the company's software asset acquisition by Autodesk and integrating these assets into Autodesk Revit. As a Co-Founder and President of the Board of Directors for Green Building XML, Stephen contributes to the development of an open-source XML schema for building information exchange. Additionally, Stephen is a limited partner in two Israeli venture capital funds and has invested in various technology startups. Previously, Stephen held the position of Senior Product Manager at Autodesk, focusing on Revit MEP, and served as Owner and Senior Product Manager at Carmel Software Corporation, which Stephen founded. Earlier in the career, Stephen was a Software Engineering Manager at Hitachi Data Systems, developing online banking applications. Stephen holds a BSE in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in Finance and Operations Management from the University of Cincinnati.

Carmel Software Corporation

Carmelsoft has been developing and selling HVAC and building analysis software for over 25 years. In 2010, Carmel sold its engineering analysis applications and software code base to Autodesk, the makers of AutoCAD. Currently, Carmel's analysis code is used to power the analysis capabilities of Autodesk Revit. Carmel is now focusing its efforts on licensing and developing mobile and web-based software for the building services industry. We have licensed over 350,000 mobile apps to technicians, engineers, and architects world-wide. We also develop custom software for organizations. Clients include Carrier, ASHRAE, Trane, SFPE Foundation, Autodesk, Disney/ESPN, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Mitsubishi Electric, DNV GL, the U.S. Department of Energy, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, and numerous other companies.
