Ren Ramer is an accomplished mining engineer with extensive experience in underground and surface limestone mining. Currently serving as the South Mine Engineering Manager at Carmeuse Americas since January 2015, Ramer oversees the mine engineering for three underground limestone mines and one surface quarry in Kentucky, collaborating with another mining engineer and operational teams. Prior to this role, Ramer held positions as the KY Lead Mining Engineer and KY Mining Engineer, managing projects for Maysville, Rockwell, and Yager Materials--Riverside. Ramer began a career in management as the Plant Manager at Arch Materials, LLC from August 2011 to January 2015. A graduate of Penn State University, Ramer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering in 1990.
