Shana Baumgartner

Shana Baumgartner is an Editorial Director and Educational Consultant with over 25 years of experience in education, including 17 years in educational publishing. Currently, Shana holds positions as Editorial Director at Crushing Colonialism and Educational Consultant at ZimZum Consulting, while previously working as a Freelance Manager, Writer, Editor, and Consultant from 2012 to 2022. Shana's career encompasses roles as a teacher and instructional designer, developing professional learning resources and leading teams to enhance educational practices across various settings. Shana is also serving a second term as Councilwoman for the Borough of Emmaus, where they chair the Parks and Recreation Committee and have successfully coordinated key studies for community development. Shana earned a Master’s degree in Education with an emphasis on social justice from UCLA Center X.
