Shelly Mitchell

Shelly Mitchell, M.Ed., currently serves as an Account Executive and previously held the position of Customer Success Manager at Carnegie Learning since June 2021. With extensive experience in education, Shelly worked as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston-Clear Lake from August 2017 to January 2023, where Shelly was the inaugural professor for the UHCLTeach program and taught Math Methods. Prior roles include Assistant Principal and Campus Content Specialist for Mathematics at Pasadena Independent School District from August 2010 to June 2021, along with a position as a Leadership Trainer and Math Coach for The National Math and Science Initiative during the same period. Shelly also contributed as a Curriculum Writer at Imagine Learning from May 2012 to September 2017 and began a career in education as a High School Mathematics Teacher at Pasadena Independent School District from August 2007 to July 2009. Shelly holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lamar University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Houston Christian University.
