Steve Ritter is a seasoned expert in cognitive science with over two decades of experience at Carnegie Learning, currently serving as Chief Scientist since July 2007. Prior to this role, Steve founded the company and worked as a cognitive scientist from December 1998 to March 2007. Earlier experience includes a position as a postdoctoral associate at Carnegie Mellon University from 1993 to 1998. Steve holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University, earned between 1988 and 1992, and a Sc.B. in Cognitive Science from Brown University, obtained from 1981 to 1985.
