Maya Cliffe

Maya Cliffe, EIT, is a staff professional at Carollo Engineers, where employment began in June 2022, following a role as a researcher at Clarkson University from May 2019 to June 2022. During the research tenure, Maya focused on rainwater harvesting and aquaponics in rural Kinyamaseke, Uganda, aimed at enhancing water and food security. Previous experience includes an engineering internship at Carollo Engineers in summer 2021, working on various water/wastewater engineering projects, and a sustainability internship at the Clarkson University Institute for a Sustainable Environment, where a technical paper on climate hazards in Potsdam, NY was authored. Additionally, Maya engaged in research on the economic benefits of macroalgae in wastewater treatment plants under the Honors Program at Clarkson University. Maya holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University, an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts Math/Science from Tompkins Cortland Community College, and a high school diploma from Bainbridge-Guilford High School.
