Michelle Young

Michelle Young is a seasoned professional in environmental engineering and wastewater treatment, currently serving as a Senior Wastewater Technologist and Lead Technologist at Carollo Engineers since August 2022. With a robust background in research and project management, Michelle held various academic positions at Arizona State University from January 2010 to September 2022, including Assistant Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher. Previous experience includes management roles at Frito-Lay, Inc., and Anheuser-Busch, where significant process improvements and safety initiatives were implemented. Michelle began a career in packaging engineering at The Clorox Company, managing R&D projects that resulted in substantial cost savings. Educational credentials include a PhD and MS in Environmental Engineering, as well as a BS in Chemical Engineering, all from Arizona State University.
