Natalie Beach, PhD, PE, is a Lead Technologist at Carollo Engineers since July 2019, specializing in optimizing wastewater processes and planning/designing biological nutrient removal (BNR) facilities. Concurrently, Natalie holds an honorary associate/fellow position at the Wisconsin Energy Institute. Previously, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Ph.D. Graduate Research Assistant role involved leading a significant study focused on energy self-sufficient wastewater treatment, culminating in a Ph.D. dissertation. Natalie's academic background includes a Master of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering, with research on nutrient removal under low-dissolved oxygen conditions and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from Colorado State University.
