Tim Winstead

Tim Winstead, CPA, is an Internal Audit Manager at Carpenter Co., where they manage domestic and international operational, compliance, and financial audits, along with special projects and investigations. Prior to this role, Winstead served as an Audit and Risk Management Officer at Richmond Behavioral Health Authority, where they reported directly to the CEO and coordinated various audits and federal reporting efforts. They retired as a Senior Financial Analyst from Altria Client Services after a 15-year tenure. Winstead began their career as an Internal Auditor at Universal Corporation and later worked as a Senior Internal Auditor at the Virginia Department of Social Services. Currently, they are pursuing a BA in Accounting from Elon University.
