Akash Abraham

Akash Abraham is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and product management across various industries. Currently serving as the Global Director of Business Development at Carpenter Technology Corporation since April 2018, Akash leads the growth strategy for a $400 million strategic business unit, focusing on key partnerships and strategic pricing initiatives. Previous roles include Global Product Manager at BASF, where Akash drove commercial strategy in automotive emissions, and Business Development roles at Performance Fibers and Lamart Corporation, where market strategies and product development were keys to achieving significant sales growth. Akash began their career as a Business Development Consultant at Foseco Metallurgical Inc. and holds a Master’s degree in Science Entrepreneurship from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Math from Denison University.
