Eric Cole is an experienced metallurgist with a strong background in materials characterization and failure analysis. At Carpenter Technology Corporation since May 2013, Eric has served as an R&D Materials Characterization Lab Manager and R&D Metallurgist, completing over 200 failure analyses and metallurgical investigations annually. Previous roles include VIM Metallurgist and Raw Materials Metallurgist at the same organization. Eric's academic foundation was established at The Ohio State University, where a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering was attained. Additionally, valuable internship experiences at Scot Forge, Steel Dynamics, Inc., and Det Norske Veritas contributed to expertise in metallurgical investigations, forging methods, and materials technology.
