Norm Hanson

Norm Hanson is an experienced technology leader with a diverse background in software engineering and data science. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering and Data Science at Carputty, Norm is focused on innovating auto financing through data and software solutions. Previous roles include Team Leader at Rocket Mortgage, where oversight of a 10-member team involved software development and vendor integrations, and Principal Software Engineer positions at SpinDance and Guaranteed Rate. Norm has held various leadership roles, including Director of Software Engineering at Aginity, and Manager of Software Engineering at Conversant, Inc., showcasing expertise in high-volume, low-latency systems. With additional experience at Firm58, Orbitz, UBS O’Connor, and 3Com, Norm's work spans IoT consulting, SaaS operations, and pioneering VOIP solutions. Education includes studies at the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics/Physics from Western Michigan University.
