Rickey McGowan

Rickey McGowan is a seasoned 3D Animator, Modeler, and Data Wrangler with extensive experience in creating photorealistic assets utilizing Lidar scanning and photogrammetry, currently employed at Carr Engineering, Inc. since June 2021. As a Freelance 3D Artist since February 2017 and a former adjunct professor at Houston Community College, Rickey has contributed to various industries, including mechanical, medical, and simulation for the oil and energy sector. Previous roles include Graphic Specialist at Systran and Art Lead at Optech 4D Inc., where responsibilities encompassed 3D modeling, graphic design, and collaboration on virtual training applications. Rickey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts and Animation from The Art Institute of Houston-North, earned between 2009 and 2013.
