Bob Chaplin

Bob Chaplin is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and data center architecture. Currently serving as the Director of Systems Engineering at Carrier Access IT since November 2021, Bob previously held the role of Sr. Data Center Architect at Insight from September 2019 to November 2021. Bob's tenure at Microsoft as an Account Technology Strategist from May 2016 to September 2019 involved collaborating with enterprise customers in the Des Moines and Omaha areas to optimize Microsoft solutions. Earlier positions include Design Architect Manager at OneNeck IT Solutions and Sr. Systems Engineer at Communications Engineering Company, along with experience as a Systems Engineer at Entre. Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Luther College, attained between 1995 and 1999.
