Bill

Bill, Ben Liang Li is an experienced R&D professional with a strong background in fire and security technologies. Currently serving as the R&D Director for Asia Fire & Security at Carrier Corporation since January 2020, Bill has also held multiple R&D leadership roles at UTC Fire & Security, including Director for North Asia and China Fire & Security since August 2011. Prior to that, Bill was the R&D Manager for Barco Media & Entertainment from 2005 to August 2011 and the R&D Director at LinktechNavi (China) Co LTD from 2002 to 2004. Bill began a technical career as an Engineer at the China Academy of Space Technology from 1994 to 1998. Bill holds a PhD in Precision Instruments with a focus on Inertial Technology from Tsinghua University, a Master in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China, and has completed the Emerging Leadership Program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
