Markus Klausner is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering, manufacturing, and quality management across various sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer for Carrier HVAC since January 2024, Markus oversees Engineering Centers of Excellence for Software, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering, as well as operations and sustainability for the light commercial HVAC business in EMEA. Prior to this role, Markus held the position of CTO and Executive Board Member at Viessmann Climate Solutions, where responsibilities included research and development and supply chain management. Earlier career highlights include serving as Chief Technology Officer at Viessmann Heizsysteme GmbH, as well as various leadership roles at Robert Bosch GmbH, focusing on electric and hybrid vehicle technology. Markus holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Technische Universität Dresden.
